Tuition fee bursaries are available for OCA Foundations and Short Courses, and Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees. Funding must be applied for before starting the unit, other than where a student is applying post-enrolment due to an evidenced unforeseen change in circumstances. Bursaries are applicable to full-price units only, and can not be taken up alongside other discounts, reductions or promotional offers.
Students can apply on a unit by unit basis, and bursaries will be for:
- 75% of the fees for a Foundation Course
- 75% of the fees for a Undergraduate Course
- 50% of the fees for a Short Course
- 25% of the fees for a Postgraduate Course

Eligibility includes:
- Must be ordinarily resident and studying in the UK
- Must not be eligible for other sources of financial income such as Student Finance loans of grants through Student Finance England/ Wales or Northern Ireland.
- Have a net household income of less than £25,000 for the last complete tax year or be in the receipt of a qualifying benefit (listed in section 5.1.3 of the policy)
- You are ineligible for Funding for a Postgraduate study through Student Finance as you are over the age of 65
- You have made an application to Student Awards Agency Scotland or Student Finance Northern Ireland where your funding does not cover the full cost of an OCA unit/course (up to one unit/course per academic year).
- You have made an application to Student Finance Wales for the second unit of study on an undergraduate degree within the same academic year that you commenced your degree, and your funding does not cover the full cost of an OCA unit/course (up to one unit/course per academic year).
