Yes, you do need to provide supporting evidence for any extension request.
If you submit an application to our Learner Support Team without evidence we will be unable to proceed with your request.
Supporting Evidence that you can provide includes:
- Letter for hospital appointments or from your GP
- Medical or health certificate confirming that you are unable to study (ie from Medical professional)
- Official documentation such as Police reports/ Social workers/ Solicitors/ Court summons or any other legal document
- Death certificate
- Letter from Line manager or business if unexpected changes affect your studies
Any documentation in a language other than English must be translated by an accredited translator prior to submission.
