The Student Handbook has a lot of information for students and is an excellent port of call in first answering your query. If you are not sure where to direct your query, the following may also help:-
Academic queries
If your query is about the unit you are studying, you can:-
- Speak to your tutor;
- Join an appropriate group work session / drop-in in your Department Space;
- Ask in your Department Space forums on OCA Learn.
Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)
If your query is a more general OCA query, you are likely to find much of this information in the Student Handbook. You can also contact our IAG Team who can help with re-enrolling, progression, timeframes, unit choices, fees and Student Finance / funding (studentadvice@oca.ac.uk). You can also find the call booking system here.
- If you need a Student Status Letter, you can also request this from IAG.
- If you have changed your name, address or any other relevant details, then please fill in the Student Change of Details Form.

If you are a Foundations or Personal Development student and wish to receive a certificate of completion, please complete the Request a Certificate of Completion Form.
Learner Support Team
The Learner Support Team will help with queries around extensions, deferrals, bursaries and disability and wellbeing information. This is also where you will submit applications and evidence for the above. You can contact them via this helpdesk, or by emailing learnersupport@oca.ac.uk You can also find the call booking system here.
If your query relates to posted items that you are expecting to receive from OCA, and you have not received them after 2 weeks, you can also contact them via the methods above.
Assessment Team
If your query relates to assessment, other than where you are submitting an extenuating circumstances application for assessment, please refer to the Assessment Guidance and questions forum on OCA Learn or contact the team at assessment@oca.ac.uk
Please be aware that you will now be invited to first assessment event after you complete your unit (key dates here).
Tech Support
If your query relates to OCA Learn, OCA Spaces, password re-sets for OCA Learn / your OCA email. You may find the answer to some of your queries via the Tech Support, Guidance and Workshops page. If you cannot find your answers here, then you can contact the Tech Support Team directly at techsupport@oca.ac.uk
Library
There is lots of useful information within the OCA Library department that you can access through My Courses on OCA Learn. Finance Team
Our Finance Team can support with queries about fee instalment plans, updating payment details and outstanding balance queries. You can contact them directly either via email (accounts@oca.ac.uk)

Registry Team
Our Registry Team can assist with withdrawal / cancellation queries but also provide support around transcript / Diploma Supplement and graduation queries. If you need to contact them directly you can do so via registry@oca.ac.uk
